Colorado Fall Colors 2018 Nature Photography Workshop Hosted by Aaron Reed
Colors of Colorado - September 28th - October 2nd, 2018 - Registration Fee $1795 - Limited to 6 participants - 4 spaces remain
This workshop will begin Friday September 28th in Aspen, CO and end in Telluride, CO on Tuesday October 2nd, 2018 and will include five days of in the field instruction as well as two mid - day Post Processing & Image Critique sessions. The time and date of these post processing sessions will be weather dependent. For those with interest in the business side of nature photography, I am happy to discuss my business, my success in the world of fine art print sales, commercial & retail photography and conducting nature photography workshops. For those who ask I happily share my personal experience and offer advice and personal guidance for those who hope to follow the same path, both during and after the workshop ends.
The cost of this workshop is $1795 per person, with a required 50% deposit at the time of booking to secure your spot. There will be a total of 6 participants in our group. The locations we will be visiting offer easy access, plenty of room for all of us to work and some of the best fall color in Southwest Colorado, if not the entire US!
We will be meeting and kicking off the workshop bright and early on Friday morning in Aspen, CO and will photograph Aspen for the remainder of the first and the second day of the workshop. Participants will want to book lodging in Aspen for both Friday and Saturday night. On Sunday morning we will begin the approx. 4 hour drive over to Telluride, CO stopping to photograph this beautiful stretch of Colorado as we go. The workshop will end Tuesday evening after sunset in Telluride. Participants will want to book lodging in Telluride for Sunday - Tuesday.
The closest major airport to Aspen, CO is the Denver International Airport(DEN). This airport is in Denver, Colorado and is approx 3.5 hours by car from the city of Aspen. Transportation to and from, hotel accommodations and travel during the workshop are not included in the registration fee for this workshop. Light to Moderate hiking on uneven surfaces will be required and some hiking may be considered moderate for short periods of time and by those less experienced. We will not be going on any extreme or back country hikes on this workshop.
This workshop will be geared specifically towards those who want to maximize the sheer volume of incredible imagery available in this area and don't mind a little extra driving to reach this goal! Along with the rugged mountains and incredible forests of Aspen trees this area has to offer we will also be photographing various waterways flanked by incredible color and beauty!
