FujiFlex Aluminum ArtBox | Premium Silver Halide Flush Mount

One of the most beautiful, clean and striking ways to show one of limited edition pieces, my FujiFlex Aluminum ArtBox is an elegant modern display method that looks beautiful, bright and polished while gracefully fitting into any style of decor. This premium fine art printing method begins with a FujiFlex Supergloss Crystal Archive Silver Halide Print that is back mounted to a sheet of aluminum and then coated with a 10mil UV laminate. The piece is then finished by floating it within a 1" deep Nielsen Bainbridge brushed aluminum frame, complete with pre-mounted hanging system. The frame is available in both German Silver & Black. As an optional upgrade, the FujiFlex print can be face facemounted with non reflective, scratch resistant TruLife Acrylic for the ultimate gallery presentation.

While this presentation fits seamlessly with any of my limited edition pieces, it is particularly well suited for my abstract collection. The combination of the abstract artwork and the clean edges of the ArtBox absolutely sing when paired together. For those interested in a 2" depth, also available, please use my contact form to request a customized quote.

Integrated Hanging System: Your Aluminum ArtBox Arrives Ready To Hang

An integrated wall-mount is pre-installed on the backside of the print, for an extremely easy to hang work of art. An affordable and stunning framing option, the Acrylic Aluminum ArtBox is breathtaking, simple and visually moving.

The Vortex

Fine Art Limited Edition of 50 - In fluid dynamics, a vortex (plural vortices/vortexes) is a region in a fluid in which the flow revolves around an axis line, which may be straight or curved. Vortices form in stirred fluids, and may be observed in smoke rings, whirlpools in the wake of a boat, and the winds surrounding a tropical cyclone, tornado or dust devil.

Vortices are a major component of turbulent flow. The distribution of velocity, vorticity (the curl of the flow velocity), as well as the concept of circulation are used to characterize vortices. In most vortices, the fluid flow velocity is greatest next to its axis and decreases in inverse proportion to the distance from the axis.

In the absence of external forces, viscous friction within the fluid tends to organize the flow into a collection of irrotational vortices, possibly superimposed to larger-scale flows, including larger-scale vortices. Once formed, vortices can move, stretch, twist, and interact in complex ways. A moving vortex carries with it some angular and linear momentum, energy, and mass.

Blue Thunder

Fine Art Limited Edition of 100 - The Jökulsárlón lake provides outstanding views of the ice cap, a vast dome of ice that rises to a height of 3,000 ft (910 m). It spills to the lagoon 12 mi (19 km) away from the jagged glacier hill to the edge of the water line. The lake developed only about 60 years ago (1948 is mentioned), when the entire area was less than 100 ft (30 m) of glacier, which was only 250 yd (230 m) from the Atlantic Ocean, and 2 mi (3.2 km) away from Vatnajökull. Vatnajökull was at the shore line of the ocean and dropped icebergs into the ocean. However, it started drifting inland rapidly every year, leaving deep gorges en route, which got filled with melted water and large chunks of ice. These icebergs gather at the mouth of the lake's shallow exit, melt down into smaller ice blocks, and roll out into the sea.

The Crack Of Dawn

Fine Art Limited Edition of 50 - Dawn, from an Old English verb dagian: "to become day", is the time that marks the beginning of twilight before sunrise. It is recognized by the appearance of indirect sunlight being scattered in the atmosphere, when the centre of the Sun's disc reaches 18° below the horizon. This dawn twilight period will last until sunrise (when the Sun's upper limb breaks the horizon), as the diffused light becomes direct sunlight.

Fine Art Limited Edition of 50 - In intentional camera movement (ICM), a camera is moved during the exposure for a creative or artistic effect. This causes the image points to move across the recording medium, producing an apparent streaking in the resulting image.
