Why I Ditched The Sony A7R IV And Bought The IPhone 11 Pro Instead

In this article I will share with you my reasoning for canceling my pre-order of the Sony a7R IV and purchasing the new iPhone 11 PRO for all my future professional photography needs. While the Sony is surely going to be an amazing camera, it pales in comparison to the DEEP FUSION of the iPhone 11 Pro. I mean, three lenses?? Seriously...the Sony A7R IV can't do that!

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!

In all seriousness though, the iPhone 11 Pro looks super cool and I will be in line to snatch one up on pre-order. The three cameras, tele, wide and super wide are cool all by themselves, but the tech packed inside, especially the DEEP FUSION is the kind of stuff I get excited about. Deep Fusion compiles a total of 9 images in camera to increase detail and lower noise. This sounds much like the newest form of Pixel Shift on the Sony A7R IV.

With the number of pixels being able to be packed onto a small sensor reaching their limits without degrading image quality, I honestly feel like these forms of technology are what are going to bring about the most exciting tech in the camera world over the coming years. As someone who wants all the resolution and detail I can get...I'm all in.

Fine Art Limited Edition of 50 - In 1850, old-growth redwood forest covered more than 2,000,000 acres (8,100 km2) of the California coast. The northern portion of that area, originally inhabited by Native Americans, attracted many lumbermen and others turned gold miners when a minor gold rush brought them to the region. Failing in efforts to strike it rich in gold, these men turned toward harvesting the giant trees for booming development in San Francisco and other places on the West Coast. After many decades of unrestricted clear-cut logging, serious efforts toward conservation began.
