Information | Aaron Reed Luxury Fine Art Prints: ChromaLuxe Dye Sublimation Metal Prints

A Metal print is an aluminum substrate with a very fine multiple layer polymer finish that contains a specialized, formulated coating providing the foundation for a visually stunning and durable fine art print. Essentially a thin sheet of aluminum, Metal prints prints are also surprisingly light with durability unmatched in fine art printing. ChromaLuxe Metal Prints prints are produced using a technology called sublimation, where inks are infused directly into specially coated metal sheets, creating images with stunning color, vibrancy and resolution. ChromaLuxe panels are scratch, fade, water and flame resistant. Requiring nothing more than simple glass cleaner, they are effortless to clean as well. Chromaluxe Metal prints are available is sizes up to 96" wide and shipped securely using wooden crates.

Exhibit Mounts | Ready To Hang Metal Prints

The ChromaLuxe Metal Prints that I offer are mounted on 2mm black Styrene and finished with a black Metal Inset Frame. Designed to look great while adding additional durability, exhibits mounts are an additional value that I add to all my metal prints without passing additional costs on to you.

Larson-Juhl Framed Metal Prints

Prior to March 2019, the only externally framed pieces that I offered were acrylic face mounted prints. While I will continue to offer framed acrylics as my premium product, I am excited to now offer fully framed ChromaLuxe prints as well. These fully finished works of art are externally framed using Italian Made 3.25" Olive Wood Larson-Juhl Moulding and a 2" Linen Liner in a choice of four colors. There is no glass used in the production of these pieces, reducing unsightly reflections and providing a luxurious, durable and safe product for displaying in public places or the privacy of your home.

Blue Thunder

Fine Art Limited Edition of 100 - The Jökulsárlón lake provides outstanding views of the ice cap, a vast dome of ice that rises to a height of 3,000 ft (910 m). It spills to the lagoon 12 mi (19 km) away from the jagged glacier hill to the edge of the water line. The lake developed only about 60 years ago (1948 is mentioned), when the entire area was less than 100 ft (30 m) of glacier, which was only 250 yd (230 m) from the Atlantic Ocean, and 2 mi (3.2 km) away from Vatnajökull. Vatnajökull was at the shore line of the ocean and dropped icebergs into the ocean. However, it started drifting inland rapidly every year, leaving deep gorges en route, which got filled with melted water and large chunks of ice. These icebergs gather at the mouth of the lake's shallow exit, melt down into smaller ice blocks, and roll out into the sea.
