Ascaya Las Vegas | Where Dreams Live

Ascaya rises from the desert floor like a series of magnificent stone steps built into the McCullough Mountain Range. The homesites here range in elevation from 1,900 to 3,200 feet, providing sweeping and unrivaled views of the mountains, the canyons and the world-renowned Las Vegas skyline.

The homes at Ascaya represent the pinnacle of desert contemporary architecture. Defined by lines, colors and materials that mimic the earth and accentuate the desert skies, every home here is as distinctive and impressive as the next.

The History of Ascaya

Ascaya, a vision brought to life by Hong Kong billionaire Henry Cheng of NWS Holdings Ltd., was conceived in 2004 as an ultra-luxury enclave in the hills of Henderson, Nevada. However, the 2007 financial crisis hit Las Vegas particularly hard, halting most construction projects—including Ascaya.

Development at Ascaya picked up again in 2014 with the construction of an exquisite clubhouse and a handful of model homes. In 2017 that the first homeowner officially moved in, marking the beginning of a remarkable turnaround.Since then, Ascaya has become a magnet for high-profile residents, drawing attention from celebrities such as Gene Simmons of KISS. The development gained even more prominence when Raiders owner Mark Davis acquired four lots to build a sprawling custom estate, capturing national media attention.

Fast forward to 2025, and Ascaya has cemented itself as the premier destination for luxury, custom-built homes in Henderson. Unlike many high-end communities in the area, Ascaya stands out as an exclusive non-golf development, offering breathtaking desert vistas and unparalleled architectural freedom. With a surge in demand and elite buyers flocking to secure their slice of this prestigious community, Ascaya has become synonymous with sophistication and exclusivity in the Las Vegas Valley.

Las Vegas Art and Design

Las Vegas is a city of spectacle, where luxury homes are not just residences but statements of sophistication, personal sanctuaries meticulously designed to balance grandeur with intimacy. In this world of sleek penthouses, sprawling desert estates, and modern architectural marvels, interior design is the bridge between opulence and livability.

Every element—soaring ceilings, dramatic lighting, and bespoke furnishings—works in harmony to create a space that is both visually arresting and deeply personal. But even the most exquisite interiors need a soul, an element that transcends mere aesthetics and evokes emotion. This is where fine art nature photography becomes an essential part of the design narrative, bringing the organic beauty of the world into the heart of a structured space.

Pacific Northwest Fine Art Photography In Las Vegas

Collectors of my work include many Las Vegas residents, including clients who have adorned entire Las Vegas luxury estates with my limited edition art. My work has been produced under my direction in Las Vegas since the beginning of my career.

In 2018, current Ascaya resident Howard Unger purchased six large pieces for his home in Ascaya. Howard continues to be moved by the work, mentioning that no other art he has owned prior or since has garnered the same attention from guests to his home. Howard gracioulsy suggested my work to the team at Ascaya to be considered for a future event in the community.

This May, owners and residents of Ascaya will have the opportunity to sample fine wines from the Willamette Valley and across the Pacific Northwest, while taking a visual journey through the area as well through the lens of my camera and my work. As a Pacific Northwest native, born in Portland and living in Sammamish, near to Bellevue, Washington, I am proud to showcase the natural beauty that the PNW has to offer.

An Invitation to Ascaya Owners

I enjoy speaking with potential collectors of my work and would like to extend a personal invitation to Ascaya owners to discuss how I can play a small part in welcoming the beauty of the natural world inside your home at Ascaya. Whether you've lived there for years or your home is in the process of being built, I am available to help in any way that I can, at your convenience. If you have a particular piece from my collection you'd enjoy seeing at the event, please reach out so it can be added to list. I look forward to meeting you all in May!

Echoes Of Fall

A tangled web of skeletal branches lace together the ashen trunks of a grove of aspen near Leavenworth, Washington. Unfazed as yet by the chill of winter, the fiery hues of the autumn undergrowth bleed through a hush of fog. Fine Art Limited Edition of 100.

True Luxury Is A Life Well Lived

Nature photography, with its ethereal landscapes and mesmerizing textures, creates a striking contrast against the clean lines of contemporary design. Imagine the rich, crimson glow of a canyon at sunset warming the neutral palette of a minimalist living room, or the delicate frost of a winter’s morning softening the edge of a modern glass-walled space.

These images do more than decorate—they transform. They invite stillness in a home where life moves fast, inspire reflection in a city that never sleeps, and tether the spirit to the untamed beauty of the world beyond. In a luxury Las Vegas home, where every detail is curated to enhance the experience of living, fine art nature photography serves as a breathtaking reminder that true luxury is not just in what we build, but in the beauty we choose to surround ourselves with.
